WWE 2K25 Arrives on Switch 2, Lacking a Key Feature

WWE 2K25 has launched on the Nintendo Switch 2, but a crucial feature – the ability to upload custom images for character creation – is absent. This is a significant drawback for dedicated wrestling fans who highly value creating and downloading personalized superstars.

This omission stems from the game`s lack of cross-platform community creation compatibility. While the latest DLC introduces notable figures like New Jack, Penta, and Bull Nakano, Switch 2 users cannot import custom logos or textures for wrestlers not already in the game, limiting them to default in-game visuals.

While perhaps not a deal-breaker for all, this limitation means the Switch 2 version offers a less comprehensive experience compared to other platforms.

This release marks the series` return to Nintendo consoles after an eight-year hiatus, following the widely criticized port of WWE 2K18.

2K has established content upload restrictions, and their moderation team typically acts swiftly to remove inappropriate content. Despite the high volume of uploads, some problematic material occasionally evades immediate detection.

Despite these issues on the Switch 2, the game has been generally well-received. Reviews praise WWE 2K25 as one of the franchise`s strongest entries, highlighting its extensive creation suite, new match types, and a comprehensive roster exceeding 300 wrestlers, including current stars, legendary icons, and even NBA legends.
