Fans of the Capcom series are increasingly speculating about the announcement of the Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake. Noted leaker Dusk Golem has shared insights on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the possible reveal period for the game.
“This is just my personal prediction, as I don’t have access to marketing plans,” the leaker stated. “However, Capcom has announced Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem during major summer events.”
“Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest therefore seems like the most probable venue for the Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake’s reveal. After all, if this strategy has consistently contributed to multi-million unit sales, I see no reason why Capcom would change it now.”
Dusk Golem thus highlighted a well-established and successful approach for the Japanese developer, which worked very well for titles like Requiem and will likely be adopted again for the series’ new installment.
Meanwhile, Resident Evil Requiem Shines with Path Tracing on PC
While hypotheses circulate about the Code: Veronica remake, which is reportedly set to have the same directors as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4, NVIDIA has released a stunning new trailer showcasing Resident Evil Requiem with Path Tracing on PC.
The video includes a series of accolades from international critics who have experienced this enhanced version, powered by the latest RTX technologies and offering an extraordinary visual experience.
