Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Ultima Limited Edition Unveiled: Preorders Now Available

Fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe have a rich selection of games, with Space Marine 2 standing out as a notable recent success. Following its well-received launch last year, the critically acclaimed sequel is now receiving a new limited release. The Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Ultima Limited Edition, priced at $100, is currently available for preorder and is set to launch on November 18 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This special edition includes a substantial collection of DLC along with an exclusive steelbook case.

The premium steelbook case boasts unique artwork, showcasing an Ultramarine statue adorned with white marble and gold on the front, complemented by a sculpted Tyranid foe on the reverse side. This design is exclusive to the Ultima Limited Edition.

The Ultima Limited Edition represents excellent value, bundling Season Pass 1, Season Pass 2, and the `Macragge`s Chosen` DLC. Both Season Passes introduce a variety of armor, weapon, and Champion cosmetic items inspired by different Space Marine chapters, usable across both PvP and PvE game modes.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Ultima Limited Edition Steelbook

For those unfamiliar with its origins, Space Marine 2 serves as a highly anticipated successor to a game released 14 years prior, immersing players in the iconic grimdark setting of the Warhammer 40,000 galaxy. The title has achieved multi-million unit sales, with players commending its direct, impactful gameplay, exhilarating combat, and remarkable visual fidelity. GameSpot`s review, penned by Richard Wakeling, hailed it as `a fantastic sequel that builds on its predecessor in every way, bombarding you with an overwhelming enemy and chaotic action that makes you feel like a small part of a much larger war.`

Since its release, developer Saber Interactive has consistently provided updates, including new content such as a Horde mode and enhanced mod support. A significant upcoming addition for next year is the Techmarine, which will be the seventh playable class in Space Marine 2. While specific details are still sparse, it has been confirmed that Techmarines will wield their unique signature weapon, the Omnissiah Axe.
