Several years ago, fans of Hydaelyn had the opportunity to bring virtual dishes from The Ultimate Final Fantasy XIV Cookbook Volume 1 into their real lives. This book offered recipes for chefs of all skill levels, from appetizers to desserts. This year, the second volume, The Ultimate Final Fantasy XIV Cookbook Vol. 2, is being released, already available for pre-order and hitting shelves on October 21. Like the first, it contains nearly 200 pages of recipes, but now focuses on dishes from the Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions.
Written by Victoria Rosenthal, the author and chef behind the first volume, Volume 2 is expected to once again be filled with creative dishes. It features over 70 recipes, including “Alligator Salad,” “Knight`s Bread Reprise,” “Tandoori Raptor,” and even intriguing drinks like “Carrot Coffee” and “Hyper-Potion.”
