Pre-orders for the new James Gunn-directed Superman film`s Blu-ray are now open, shortly after its theatrical debut. Options include a 4K Steelbook Edition and standard 4K and regular Blu-ray versions. Although no specific release date has been announced, Blu-rays usually arrive approximately three months after a movie hits theaters, pointing towards a Fall release. Pre-ordering ensures you pay the lowest price offered between placing the order and shipment.
An October release is currently expected, roughly three months after the movie`s run in cinemas. The Steelbook edition boasts eye-catching cover art showing the entrance to Superman`s Fortress of Solitude, with an interior image of the Man of Steel within the crystalline structure. While bonus features for this release haven`t been revealed yet, past DC film Blu-rays typically feature a good range of behind-the-scenes material, similar to the comprehensive extras found on The Batman (2022).
In addition to the 4K Steelbook Edition, pre-orders are also available for standard versions of the film on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD. The final cover designs for these editions, along with any bonus features, have not yet been disclosed.
