Fans will have the option to purchase these classic games either as a single bundle for $70, or individually for $40 each. This exciting re-release forms a significant part of Nintendo`s grand celebration for the Super Mario 40th Anniversary. The anniversary festivities also include the newly revealed Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which was teased just prior to the game announcements and is scheduled to hit theaters in April 2026.
The Nintendo Direct presentation delivered even more thrilling news for Mario enthusiasts beyond the Galaxy series. Other notable game reveals included Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, Mario Tennis Fever, and a brand-new adventure featuring Mario`s faithful companion, titled Yoshi and the Mysterious Book.
