Saw II 4K Steelbook Edition Is Only $24 And Exclusive To Amazon

Fans of the gruesome Saw horror franchise will soon be able to experience Jigsaw`s sinister traps in stunning 4K resolution. The second, third, and fourth Saw films are making their 4K Blu-ray debut with Amazon-exclusive Steelbook Editions. The Saw II Limited Edition Steelbook is currently available for preorder at a discounted price of $24.42 (originally $35) on Amazon. Preorders for the Saw III and Saw IV 4K Steelbooks are expected to open soon.

While Amazon initially indicated an October 21 release date for all three films, the exact timing is now somewhat uncertain. Following a price reduction for the Saw II Steelbook, Amazon removed its release date entirely, making it appear as if this edition has already launched, with an estimated delivery window of 4-5 weeks.

All new Saw Limited Edition Steelbooks will include 4K Blu-ray, 1080p, and digital copies compatible with Movies Anywhere. The 4K discs boast Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Dolby Atmos surround sound, promising an optimal viewing experience for Saw 2-4.

Saw Unrated Edition (4K Blu-ray) / Saw X (4K Blu-ray)

The original Saw (unrated edition) was released on 4K Blu-ray back in 2021 and is available for $15. Notably, Saw X chronologically fits between the first and second Saw films, making it a good choice for a rewatch. Spiral, a standalone spin-off starring Chris Rock, and Jigsaw, set a decade after the original seven-film series, can be watched independently, though prior knowledge of the series enhances the experience for Jigsaw.

Saw 10-Film Collection (Blu-ray) / Saw 7-Film Collection (Blu-ray)

To complete a Saw collection, including Saw V, VI, and Saw 3D, the Saw 7-Film Collection on Blu-ray is recommended for $20. This is a solid deal even if only for the three films not yet on 4K. It features all seven movies from the original story arc as unrated editions.

For $25, you can get the newer Saw 8-Film Collection on Blu-ray, which essentially adds Jigsaw to the collection.

Fans who simply want to own the entire franchise with one purchase should check out Saw`s 10-Film Anniversary Collection for $46 (originally $65). Released last spring to celebrate the franchise`s 20th anniversary, this 23-disc set encompasses Blu-ray and DVD versions of each movie, from the 2004 original to 2023`s Saw X. It`s roughly double the price of the other box sets, but includes both Blu-rays and DVDs. Three extra DVDs contain special features for the first three films, and the box also includes four collectible art cards. The discs are housed in an oversized plastic case, all packaged in a cardboard box featuring one of Jigsaw`s ruthless contraptions on the front.

The unrated editions of the first seven Saw movies are also available on 1080p Blu-ray with matching cases for cheap. We`ve listed those and the recent trio of Saw films below:

All Saw movies on Blu-ray

  • Saw – $10.81
  • Saw II – $15
  • Saw III – $9
  • Saw IV – $8.33
  • Saw V – $14.49
  • Saw VI – $11.67
