Satisfactory Arrives on PlayStation and Xbox Consoles This November

After spending five years in early access, Coffee Stain Studios announced last year that its acclaimed factory-building game, Satisfactory, would eventually arrive on consoles. The wait is now over, as Satisfactory is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on November 4, allowing console players to join the existing PC community on the enigmatic planet MASSAGE-2(A-B)b.

As a Pioneer employed by the vast FICSIT Inc. corporation, players are tasked with venturing to an extraterrestrial planet, MASSAGE-2(A-B)b, to establish sprawling industrial complexes. The core gameplay involves designing and automating complex production lines to extract, process, and expand operations using the planet`s abundant resources.

This ambitious undertaking is made easier by comprehensive cross-play support, enabling up to four players to collaborate on their industrial endeavors, regardless of whether they are on PC or console.

Upon release, the console editions of Satisfactory will include all features and content found in the PC version up to the June 1.1 update, even including the functionality of flushable toilets from the start. Console-specific enhancements include game suspend on Xbox, and integrated controller speaker and haptic feedback on PlayStation. Players can also choose from various performance settings: Quality mode (30fps), Balanced mode (40fps), and Performance mode (60fps). Furthermore, cloud saving will allow players to seamlessly transfer their factory progress between different consoles or even to PC.

While Satisfactory offers a unique take on alien world factory simulation, it`s not the only title in this niche. For instance, Creepy Jar recently previewed StarRupture, a seemingly comparable yet more perilous game where hostile alien life forms pose a significant threat. StarRupture is slated for early access release on January 6, 2026.
