Software-wise, both devices run on Android 16 with the One UI 8.5 interface. AI integration spans various functions, from natural language-based settings management to seamless inter-app interaction. The ecosystem leverages Bixby for system operations and Google Gemini for more complex cross-application tasks.
Among the new AI-powered features is automatic transcription within the recorder app, enabling conversion and translation of voice content. The phones also offer tools for on-screen content analysis and contextual suggestions, alongside deeper integration with the SmartThings ecosystem for controlling connected devices.
Both models feature a robust camera system centered around a 50-megapixel main sensor, complemented by ultra-wide-angle and macro lenses. Software enhancements improve performance in low-light conditions and automatically optimize scenes. The Galaxy A57 5G further refines image quality with advanced HDR management and noise reduction tools, while the Galaxy A37 5G focuses on more precise portrait modes.
In terms of hardware, the Galaxy A57 5G is powered by an Exynos 1680 processor, while the Galaxy A37 5G utilizes an Exynos 1480. Both phones feature immersive 6.7-inch AMOLED displays with a 120 Hz refresh rate and high brightness, ensuring excellent readability even in brightly lit environments. The reduced bezels contribute to a more expansive viewing experience.
For security, both devices incorporate Samsung Knox and Knox Vault, providing hardware-level protection for sensitive data and credentials. Samsung also commits to an impressive six generations of Android updates and six years of security patches, an increasingly significant factor when choosing a smartphone.
