Rosalina’s Storybook From Super Mario Galaxy Now Available for Preorder!

Super Mario Galaxy enthusiasts can now preorder the physical edition of “Rosalina`s Storybook.” Unveiled during September`s Nintendo Direct, alongside a Super Mario Galaxy game collection, this 112-page hardcover volume adapts the beloved in-game book. Dark Horse Books plans to release “Rosalina`s Storybook” on November 25, perfectly timed for the holiday season. Preorders are currently open at $25.

This vibrant, full-color picture book meticulously details Rosalina`s journey into the cosmos, where she becomes the guardian and leader of the Lumas. It encompasses all nine chapters from the original in-game narrative, each accompanied by full-page illustrations. It`s important to note that a new chapter, which appears in the Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 collection for Switch and Switch 2, will not be included in this standalone physical book.

Thanks to Amazon`s preorder price guarantee, customers will not be charged until their order ships and will automatically receive any price reductions offered prior to release.

Below are two sample pages from the forthcoming physical edition of “Rosalina`s Storybook”:

The Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 collection is scheduled for release on October 2, available in both physical and digital formats for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The physical version is compatible with original Switch consoles, with a complimentary upgrade option to the Switch 2 version, which will boast 4K resolution. Both titles support traditional button/stick controls as well as motion controls. The collection is available for preorder at $70.

Nintendo is also launching its inaugural Super Mario Galaxy Amiibo figures, featuring Mario with Luma and Rosalina with Lumas. These new Amiibo can be preordered for $40 each, with an anticipated release date of April 2, 2026. This significant lead time for the Amiibo launch is likely a deliberate strategy, coinciding with “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” hitting theaters in April 2026.
