Nintendo Switch 2 скоро станет центром ужасов. На сентябрьском Nintendo Direct компания Capcom анонсировала выпуск портов Resident Evil 7 и Resident Evil Village, а также новой части Resident Evil 9: Requiem для этой консоли. Все три игры запланированы к выходу на Switch 2 27 февраля 2026 года.
После прохладного приема Resident Evil 6, игра Resident Evil 7 стала значимым поворотным моментом для франшизы и компании Capcom. The Nintendo Switch 2 is poised to become a hub for horror. During the September Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced it would be bringing ports of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village, along with the new Resident Evil 9: Requiem, to the console. All three titles are scheduled for release on Switch 2 on February 27, 2026.
Following the lukewarm reception of Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 7 marked a significant turning point for the franchise and Capcom. As the first full-fledged game to utilize the RE Engine, Resident Evil 7 successfully revisited the survival-horror roots of the series, earning critical acclaim. Capcom`s remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 were also well-received, and the Resident Evil 4 remake stood out as one of 2023`s best video games.
The upcoming installment, Resident Evil: Requiem, will launch on February 27, 2026, across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. This game will introduce a new protagonist, Grace Ashcroft, and will bring players back to Raccoon City — a location that has remained largely unexplored since its destruction in Resident Evil 2 and 3.
