Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, a game with remarkable longevity over 18 years, including its 2019 remaster, Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns, is facing a new change. The Legend Returns will soon be delisted as another remaster of Puzzle Quest is on its way.
This latest iteration, titled Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition, is set to launch on September 18 across multiple platforms: Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Developed by Infinity Plus One, this remaster will feature both the `Revenge of the Plague Lord` and `Challenge of the Warlords` expansions.
Players can anticipate enhanced gameplay, stunning 4K artwork, more than 40 new items, and a unique new character class in the Immortal Edition. It will also incorporate the `Attack of the Golem Lord` expansion, originally developed for The Legend Continues.
Nintendo`s eShop indicates that Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns will be available until September 19. Existing purchasers can continue to play the game, though no further updates will be provided. Owners of The Legend Returns will receive an exclusive discount on Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition, but official pricing information for this new title has not yet been revealed.
