The Pokemon Company confirmed that the showcase will feature four thrilling exhibition matches, with the legendary wrestler Mistico, renowned for his time in WWE as Sin Cara, among the confirmed participants. While tickets will be available soon for those wishing to attend, fans worldwide can also catch the action live via streaming on the official YouTube channels of Pokemon and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.
This exciting announcement follows closely on the heels of the reveal of a new Mega Evolution for Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Appropriately, the powerful upgrade goes to Hawlucha, a Pokémon whose design is inspired by luchadors and known for its distinctive high-flying combat moves. Hawlucha`s Mega Evolution further enhances its wrestling aesthetic, featuring elaborate plumage that makes it look perfectly ready for a main event match, perhaps even at a future Wrestlemania.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set to launch on October 16 for both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2. The game promises to introduce significant changes to the traditional Pokémon gameplay, including the integration of real-time battles and dynamic free-for-all encounters where up to four players can compete simultaneously.
