The “Tales of Transformation” season has officially begun in Pokemon Go, bringing a host of exciting events and new Pokémon introductions this September. Reflecting the season`s theme, Mega Raids will feature several Mega Pokémon, highlighted by the debut of Mega Sharpedo. During this event, Pokémon from the original Red and Blue versions, such as Chansey, Snorlax, and Abra, will appear more frequently in the wild. Additionally, various event-themed Field and Timed Research tasks will be available, rewarding Mega Energy, Pokémon encounters, Stardust, and other valuable items.

This month`s Community Day, scheduled for September 14, stars the Fairy-type Pokémon Flabebe. From 2-5 PM local time, Flabebe will appear more frequently in the wild, providing a great opportunity to catch this rare Pokémon. The color of Flabebe`s flower will vary by region:

  • Red Flower Flabebe: Europe, the Middle East, Africa
  • Blue Flower Flabebe: Asia-Pacific
  • Yellow Flower Flabebe: The Americas

  • White Flower Flabebe: All regions

For a limited period, evolving Floette into Florges will become easier: trainers can now do so after earning seven hearts with Floette as their buddy. If evolved before the end of September 21, the resulting Florges will also learn the special Water-type Charged Attack Chilling Water.

Additionally, several bonuses will be active throughout the event. Eggs placed in Incubators will require only a quarter of their usual hatch distance. Trainers will also receive double candy for catching Pokémon, and any Lure Modules or Incense used during the event will last for three hours.

Team Go Rocket will disrupt this year`s Psychic Spectacular from September 16-21. During the event, Psychic-type Pokémon such as Abra, Beldum, and Ralts will appear more frequently in the wild. Additionally, Lunatone and Solrock, typically region-exclusive, will appear globally.

Beyond wild spawns, certain Psychic Pokémon like Smoochum, Espurr, and the debuting Indeedee may hatch from 5 km eggs during the event. Team Go Rocket`s presence will also increase, with grunts appearing more often at PokeStops and in hot-air balloons.

A new Special Research story will be available, leading trainers to a battle with Team Go Rocket boss Giovanni, who will command a Shadow Tornadus.
