PlayStation Plus April Leak: Lords of the Fallen Reportedly Included

As March draws to a close, Sony is preparing to reveal the official lineup of PS4 and PS5 games for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers. However, an unexpected leak indicates that one of the month’s primary titles may have already surfaced. According to insights from the well-known insider billbil-kun, the dark fantasy action RPG Lords of the Fallen is set to be a flagship offering for April.

Sources suggest that this soulslike action RPG, initially released by CI Games in 2023, will become available starting Tuesday, April 7. The full official announcement for all Essential games is anticipated on March 31.

“Lords of the Fallen”: An Overview

Lords of the Fallen plunges players into a brutal dark fantasy action RPG world, teeming with formidable adversaries. Its unique feature is the presence of two interwoven dimensions, Axiom and Umbral, allowing players to transition between them to uncover new areas and gain tactical advantages. The combat system, characteristic of soulslike games, demands precise execution, careful stamina management, and the ability to accurately read enemy attack patterns.

While the game launched with promising ideas, it also faced several initial challenges. Most of these issues have since been addressed thanks to the development team’s significant post-launch support. The update cycle concluded in December with patch 2.5, which, among other improvements, introduced the Veteran mode, featuring even tougher enemies and bosses.

What are your thoughts? Would you be pleased if Lords of the Fallen is indeed confirmed as one of the PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April?
