Hayley Atwell, known for her roles in “Mission: Impossible” and “Agent Carter,” lends her voice to Lara Croft. Karen Fukuhara from “The Boys” voices Lara`s friend, Sam. Mirroring the popular video game franchise, the show follows Lara Croft on exciting global expeditions as she searches for mysterious ancient artifacts.

The production of “The Legend of Lara Croft” is handled by Legendary TV, with Dmitri M. Johnson and Mike Goldberg of Story Kitchen, also involved with the “Sonic the Hedgehog” films, serving as producers. Noah Hughes from Crystal Dynamics holds an executive producer role.
This news emerges shortly after Amazon MGM Studios announced that Sophie Turner has been cast to star in a separate live-action “Tomb Raider” TV series, developed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge of “Fleabag” fame.
Regarding the “Tomb Raider” video game franchise, Crystal Dynamics is currently developing the next installment. The studio recently experienced layoffs following the cancellation of “Perfect Dark,” but stated that the “Tomb Raider” project was not affected.
