Marvel Tokon: Fighting Heroes Set for Playable Debut at Evo 2025

Arc System Works made waves in the fighting game community by unveiling Marvel Tokon: Fighting Heroes during the PlayStation State Of Play livestream on June 2. With its sleek anime art style and innovative 4v4 combat mechanics, this new project instantly soared to the top of highly anticipated titles within the genre. Next month, players will get their first hands-on experience as the game makes its playable debut at Evo 2025, the world`s largest fighting game tournament.

According to a recent post on the PlayStation Blog, the playable demo will be accessible to all attendees on the Evo 2025 show floor. The demo will feature a roster of six characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Storm, Star-Lord, and Doctor Doom. As a bonus, all participants who try the demo will receive a commemorative pin.

Members of the Marvel Tokon development teams from both Arc System Works and Marvel Games are also slated to host a “Developer Combat Panel” on the Evo Showcase stage. This panel will take place on Friday, August 1, at 8 PM PT / 11 PM ET. The discussion will delve into the game`s core gameplay mechanics and will be livestreamed on the Evo Events YouTube channel.

Evo 2025 is scheduled for August 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to professional tournaments for titles like Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8, the Evo convention floor will host demos for other upcoming fighting games, including 2XKO, and boast what the Evo website describes as the “second-largest arcade in the US” with over 250 cabinets.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is expected to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
