Gameplay and Features

While maintaining the classic Lego charm, this new adventure introduces a refined combat system. It features “free-flow” combat inspired by Rocksteady`s renowned Batman: Arkham games, but it has been fine-tuned to be easily learned and mastered by younger family members as they face increasingly large groups of enemies.
Batman will not be fighting crime alone in this open-world recreation of Gotham City. The Bat-Family, including Detective Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Catwoman, will join the Dark Knight throughout the campaign. Each character possesses unique skills and gadgets; for example, Batgirl can bypass security systems with her hackarang, while Nightwing utilizes a devastating battle-staff.
Players will confront a roster of legendary supervillains such as the Joker, Ra`s al Ghul, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, and Firefly.
Furthermore, Batman can develop and acquire a wide variety of Batmobiles, including several iconic vehicles featured in classic films and TV series such as Batman `89, The Dark Knight, and Batman: The Animated Series. When resting at the Batcave, which is filled with Easter eggs like Two-Face`s giant penny, players can admire their collection of over 100 available suits and outfits for the Bat-Family.
