How to Get the Free Chevrolet Corvette in Fortnite and Rocket League

Epic Games` Summer Road Trip, a special cross-game event spanning Fortnite and Rocket League, has returned for its second iteration. This year, players can unlock another free licensed vehicle through completing in-game quests: the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. This marks a notable upgrade from last year`s reward, the Tesla Cybertruck.

Similar to the previous event, the Summer Road Trip offers quests in both Rocket League and Fortnite to acquire the Corvette. While you don`t necessarily need to play both games, as either set of quests will unlock the car, there are additional rewards unique to each title. To collect all the free goodies, engaging with both games is recommended.

Most event rewards, including the Corvette itself, will become available for purchase in the item shops of both Fortnite and Rocket League once the event concludes. However, the Corvette boasts an exclusive cosmetic, the ZR1 Circuit decal, which can only be obtained by earning the car during this limited-time event.

Fortnite Summer Road Trip Rewards

The Fortnite questline for the Summer Road Trip offers several items not available through Rocket League. While many are sprays, other notable rewards include `The Zephyr Song` jam track by The Red Hot Chili Peppers for completing your first quest, the Sunset Vibes wrap after four quests, and The Quack Axe upon finishing six quests.

The Fortnite Path to the Corvette ZR1

Unlocking the Corvette through Fortnite is relatively straightforward, involving a total of eight quests. Four quests require players to earn 80,000 XP while in a party within Epic-created Fortnite experiences such as Battle Royale, Reload, or Festival. The other four quests involve earning the same amount of XP in user-created Fortnite Creative and UEFN islands, also while in a party. Any mode outside of Epic`s Discovery section counts for these Creative challenges.

To expedite XP gain in user-made islands, ensure you have daily quests active before diving in. Each of the three daily quests grants 30,000 XP for every 20,000 XP earned through gameplay. Completing just two daily quests can fulfill the XP requirement for each Summer Road Trip Creative quest.

Quests are released daily, alternating between Epic-created and user-created modes, starting with one of each on day one and concluding with the final quest on July 28. All quests will remain available until the Summer Road Trip event concludes on August 7, allowing players to complete them at their convenience. Successfully finishing all eight quests will grant you the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in both Fortnite and Rocket League.

Rocket League Summer Road Trip Rewards

This Fortnite skin can be earned for free by participating in Rocket League`s Summer Road Trip.

Surprisingly, the Rocket League quests offer more compelling Fortnite rewards than their Fortnite counterparts. For instance, making 15 saves in online matches unlocks a Rocket League player title and the Hairpin skin for Fortnite. Additionally, playing a private match with a mutator will reward players with a Fortnite glider designed to resemble a giant Rocket League ball.

If you`re seeking a quick way to complete these quests and secure the rewards, helpful guides are available. It`s important to note that the Rocket League segment of the Summer Road Trip event concludes on August 4, a few days earlier than the Fortnite portion.

The Rocket League Path to the Corvette ZR1

The Rocket League path to unlocking the Corvette ZR1 is considerably faster than the Fortnite route and offers equally, if not more, attractive rewards.

Rocket League features two waves of quests. The first set became available on July 22, at the event`s commencement, with the final quest unlocking on July 28. The initial quests are straightforward:

  • Achieve 15 saves in online matches.
  • Score 15 goals in online matches.
  • Perform 15 assists or clears in online matches.
  • Play one private match with at least one mutator enabled.

Completing these four quests will grant players the ZR1 wheels. The final quest, accessible from July 28, requires players to participate in five online matches while in a party and with the ZR1 wheels equipped. Upon completion, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 car body will be unlocked for use in both Rocket League and Fortnite.
