Hollow Knight: Silksong Discounted at Launch – Special Offers for Humble Choice Subscribers

Hollow Knight: Silksong, Team Cherry`s highly anticipated metroidvania, has finally launched, sparking widespread discussion. Players eager to join the buzz can find the game at a reasonable price, with a current 15% discount available for the Steam version through Humble Choice. This reduces the price from $20 to $17. Although Humble has temporarily run out of keys, a restock is anticipated.

The 15% discount on Silksong is a benefit for Humble Choice subscribers, whose monthly membership costs $15. This subscription includes access to a refreshed selection of PC games each month, along with the Humble Vault, a rotating library of additional titles. A key advantage is that all claimed PC games are permanently owned, even if the membership is cancelled. Notable games available this month include WWE 2K25, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection, The Plucky Squire, and Return to Monkey Island.

For those who purchased Silksong but missed out on a Steam key due to stock issues, Humble is providing DRM-free keys as an alternative. The game is also available at its standard $20 price on GOG, offering a DRM-free version. This ensures permanent ownership and the ability to play without a launcher, making it ideal for portable gaming devices like the Asus ROG Ally, even offline.

Despite Silksong`s release, some players may face delays due to digital storefronts struggling under high demand. Platforms like Steam, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, and Xbox are experiencing issues, with Steam alone seeing over 100,000 concurrent players within an hour of launch. As an alternative, if the Nintendo eShop is inaccessible, digital Silksong keys for Switch are available on Amazon.
