The upcoming third-person action-adventure game, Hell is Us, developed by Rogue Factor and published by Nacon, is set to launch in under a month. However, eager fans can get an early preview, as Nacon has confirmed a console demo for Hell is Us will be available next week for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Nacon initially announced the Hell is Us demo`s August 12 release date via social media. They later specified that the demo would be accessible on PC in addition to its console availability.
Players will control Remi, a UN peacekeeper who deserts his post to investigate the disappearance of his parents in his native land, Hadea. There, he uncovers an invasion by mysterious supernatural beings known as Hollow Walkers. While a drone companion assists in defense, Remi`s primary combat style involves various melee weapons, such as swords, polearms, and axes.
During a May preview, GameSpot noted the developers` intention for Hell is Us to be a challenging experience, reminiscent of `souls-like` games. Instead of explicit guidance, players must deduce their objectives and progression paths by carefully listening to in-game NPC dialogues, encouraging exploration and attentive gameplay.
Hell is Us is scheduled for a full release on September 4 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition will gain an advantage with three days of early access, beginning September 1.
