While it will be a timed console exclusive for the Switch platform, the game will also be available simultaneously on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

For players who prefer a physical copy, a boxed version of Hades 2 for Switch 2 is scheduled for release on November 20.

Hades 2 has undergone significant development over its year-long early access phase, which began in May 2024. A new launch trailer for version 1.0 was unveiled during the Nintendo Direct, offering a fresh look at the game`s latest iteration.

Although the initial early access release already provided a robust and feature-rich experience, subsequent updates and patches have further expanded the game world. While Hades 2 is planned for release on Xbox and PlayStation in the future, it will initially launch exclusively on the Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. Performance details for the Switch 2 have also been confirmed: when played in TV mode, Hades 2 will achieve a crisp 1080p resolution at a smooth 120 frames per second.
