Fortnite’s Shock N’ Awesome Season Kicks Off with Twitch Drops

This week marks the beginning of Fortnite`s Shock N` Awesome campaign, following an epic conclusion to the previous season. The latest season introduces iconic characters like the Mighty Morphin` Power Rangers and a brand-new Halo Spartan skin, as players dive into a battle royale filled with giant bugs.

To celebrate the launch of this action-packed season, Epic Games has announced a special Twitch Drop event for this weekend. Players can earn three exclusive in-game items by simply watching eligible Fortnite streams for a combined total of 90 minutes.

How to Claim Your Rewards:

To secure these unique items, ensure you are logged into Twitch and watching any streamer playing Fortnite between now and August 10, 8:59 PM PT / 11:59 PM ET. The first item will unlock after 30 minutes of viewing. Continue watching, and the remaining two items will be awarded at the 60-minute and 90-minute marks, respectively. Each reward will instantly appear in your in-game locker once the viewing milestones are met.

Exclusive Twitch Drop Items:

  • Metal Menace Wrap: Unlocked after 30 minutes of watch time.
  • Tome of Skulls: Unlocked after 60 minutes of watch time.
  • Skeletal Cyberscythe: Unlocked after 90 minutes of watch time.

The Shock N` Awesome season succeeds the Super Showdown season, which famously featured Superman from James Gunn`s recent film. The Super Showdown concluded with a memorable live event on August 2, where players engaged in a battle against a colossal purple kraken-like monster, ultimately vanquished by the Man of Steel himself.

Fortnite is widely available across a variety of platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and mobile devices.
