Five Nights At Freddy’s Join Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights

This year, Universal`s Halloween Horror Nights program is set to become even more chilling. Universal has unveiled the first teaser for the Five Nights at Freddy`s attraction, which will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights events at both Universal Studios in California and Universal Orlando in Florida. The teaser was accompanied by a short video clip showcasing Freddy Fazbear and his animatronic companions from the franchise.

At Universal Orlando, the Halloween festivities will kick off with Five Nights at Freddy`s on August 29, while Universal Studios will begin the FNAF event a little later, on September 4. Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts will run until November 2.

Specific details for the temporary Five Nights at Freddy`s attraction are currently limited, but it appears to be a recreation of Freddy Fazbear`s Pizzeria from the first game and the feature film of the same name. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy will haunt visitors as they attempt to navigate “through eerie abandoned hallways.” The description also notes that fans will “encounter ghosts in the machines.”

This year`s Halloween Horror Nights will also feature attractions based on the “Jason Universe” (from the Friday the 13th franchise), WWE`s “Wyatt Sicks,” “Terrifier,” and “Fallout”—all available at both Universal Studios and Universal Orlando. However, Universal Orlando will offer more options than the smaller theme park, including several original properties.

Regrettably, the Five Nights at Freddy`s Halloween Horror Nights event will conclude before Five Nights at Freddy`s 2 hits theaters on December 5. Universal Pictures recently released the first trailer for the upcoming sequel, which hints at a darker storyline than the 2023 original film. Josh Hutcherson, Matthew Lillard, and Elizabeth Lail will reprise their roles from the first movie, joined by newcomers Mckenna Grace, Teo Briones, Skeet Ulrich, and Wayne Knight.
