Fisherman from ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ Joins Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to introduce a new operator: the relentless Fisherman from the iconic horror franchise “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” His appearance coincides with the release of a new installment in the famous slasher series. A short teaser trailer ominously proclaims, “Last summer, they knew what you did. This summer, the Fisherman`s in your lobby.”

Although the new film`s title lacks a numerical identifier, it marks the fourth entry in the slasher series and serves as a direct sequel to 1998`s “I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.” Set 27 years after the Tower Bay murders, the movie features a new hook-wielding killer at large, targeting a group of friends who, a year prior, covered up a car accident in which they may have killed someone. The film premiered on July 18, garnering mixed reviews, and has so far grossed $24.6 million worldwide.

The release date for the Fisherman operator, who bears a striking resemblance to the Hash-Slinging Slasher from “SpongeBob SquarePants,” has not yet been announced but is anticipated to debut in Season Five of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This latest addition follows a series of surprising crossovers in the game, including characters from “American Dad!”, “Beavis and Butt-Head,” and Eve Macarro from the “John Wick” spin-off “Ballerina,” all added in recent weeks.

In other Call of Duty news, a new age verification measure is being implemented, and Treyarch`s Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 was recently announced with an impressive trailer.
