Eminem’s Amusing Reaction to Being Labeled “The Guy from Fortnite”

In 2023, the famous rapper and occasional actor Eminem made his mark in Fortnite, featuring three different character skins inspired by his various personas. While this was a minor event in his impressive career spanning over two decades, Eminem was recently comically identified as “the guy from Fortnite.”

The video, shared on X by “The Eminem Bible,” captured Eminem`s excellent reaction: he simply burst into laughter at the remark. The fan quickly reassured him that it was all in jest.

Last year, Eminem reappeared in Fortnite when Epic Games launched the Mythic RG Minigun, a weapon capable of firing bullets while simultaneously playing Eminem`s music and lyrics in sync with its rate of fire. He also took part in the star-studded concert that marked the end of Fortnite Remix Chapter 2, performing alongside Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and featuring a tribute to the late rapper Juice WRLD.

Despite not frequently appearing in video games himself, Eminem`s music has been utilized to promote titles, such as in the launch trailer for Final Fantasy 15 and on the soundtrack for WWE 2K19. In 2022, Kirk Ewing recounted how a Hollywood producer pitched a Grand Theft Auto movie starring Eminem and directed by “Top Gun” director Tony Scott to Rockstar Games, a proposal that Rockstar`s Sam Houser reportedly declined.

Regarding Fortnite`s future, upcoming collaborations are rumored to include characters from Mighty Morphin` Power Rangers, and possibly Jason Voorhees from “Friday the 13th” and Ghostface from “Scream.”
