Double Fine has officially unveiled the launch date for its eagerly anticipated new game, Kiln, setting it for April 23rd. This innovative title will be broadly accessible, arriving on PlayStation 5, Xbox, PC, and also available via Xbox Game Pass.
Kiln is described as a unique creative brawler where players are encouraged to sculpt their own personalized “vase-warriors.” These custom creations will then be pitted against each other in dynamic and often chaotic arena battles. This blend of creative design and intense combat promises a fresh take on the brawler genre.
Before the full release, interested players will have the opportunity to get a hands-on preview of the game. An exclusive PC open beta is scheduled to run from April 9th to April 11th, offering a chance to test out the game’s mechanics and creative features.
