Digital Foundry has delivered its analysis of Crimson Desert running on the base PlayStation 5 console. While the Quality and Balanced display modes received commendation for their stability and visual integrity, the Performance mode was heavily criticized. According to their findings, this mode suffers from significant frame rate drops, fails to maintain a stable 60 frames per second, and presents a noticeably inferior visual experience.
