Crimson Desert Developer Fulfills Promise, Replaces AI Art in Recent Patch

For those displeased by the presence of AI-generated imagery in the game, there’s good news for Crimson Desert players: the controversial artwork has been officially replaced. As part of the game’s latest significant update, released over the weekend, developer Pearl Abyss has systematically removed all AI assets from the title.

While this crucial change was mentioned within the comprehensive patch notes, it required a short period for players to thoroughly confirm that every instance of AI-generated content had indeed been successfully swapped out for new, human-created alternatives.
