Community Decides Next Feature for Schedule 1 Game

The “Rival Cartels” update for Schedule 1 has recently gone live, and now the community is invited to vote on the game`s next major feature. Players can choose from three options: hireable drivers, shrooms, or a fishing minigame.

Shrooms, a psychedelic drug type, was previously an option in the first community poll but was outvoted by the rival cartel feature. If it wins this time, players will gain a new substance to sell to their customer base.

Hireable drivers present the most practical new option, allowing players to recruit NPCs to transport goods efficiently between their various properties, businesses, and dealers. This feature would also introduce quality-of-life improvements to the existing delivery system.

The third choice is a classic video game addition: a fishing minigame. Should players select fishing, they`ll be able to catch fish and potentially other unique items. This activity would serve as an additional revenue stream, as caught fish can be sold at Randy`s Bait & Tackle for profit. New ingredients and effects would also accompany this update.

All owners of Schedule 1 can participate in the poll, which is accessible directly from the in-game main menu. Voting concludes this weekend, with results to be revealed within the game shortly after.

In a prior community vote, game creator Tyler saw the “rival cartel” feature emerge victorious with a commanding 64% of the votes. That feature has since been implemented in the latest major update, providing significant mid-to-late-game content for dedicated Schedule 1 players.

Schedule 1 is a well-received Steam game where players build and manage a drug-selling empire. Currently in early access, it is being developed by a sole creator, Tyler, who has indicated plans to expand the development team in the near future.
