The well-known IPA beer producer, Voodoo Ranger, has teamed up with 2K Games to introduce a limited-edition Borderlands 4 IPA.

Named Voodoo Ranger x Borderlands 4 IPA, this beverage is sold in six-packs nationwide. Each pack contains a QR code providing an opportunity to win a copy of the upcoming Borderlands 4 game, along with exclusive in-game `golden key` rewards.

Notably, this IPA is Voodoo Ranger`s standard offering, not a specially formulated blend to match the Borderlands theme. It features a 7% ABV and is packaged in 12oz cans.

Patrick Morgan, head of Voodoo Ranger, stated, “The Borderlands universe perfectly complements the Voodoo Ranger brand. This made it a natural decision for us to join forces and be part of one of this year`s most anticipated game releases.”

The beer was released on September 1st, and the giveaway via QR codes will run until October 1st. There are 1,000 game copies available to win, with thousands of additional in-game rewards also being offered. Detailed terms and conditions can be found on Voodoo Ranger`s official site.

Voodoo Ranger has a history of similar promotions, having previously released an IPA to mark the launch of Microsoft`s Redfall.

Borderlands 4 is set to launch on September 12th, with an early unlock available from 9 PM PT on September 11th. For further details, players can consult guides on the Borderlands 4 preorder. The game will be available this week for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release planned for October.
