Despite the usually calm demeanor of actor Bob Odenkirk, known for his roles in “Better Call Saul” and “Mr. Show,” he vividly described how his character, Hutch Mansell from the film “Nobody,” would mercilessly deal with Nintendo`s mascot, Mario.
At San Diego Comic-Con, Odenkirk shared his bloodthirsty fantasies with IGN: “I`ll kill Mario, rip his mustache off and shove it down his throat. Then I`ll tear his swimming goggles apart and use them as weapons to wound him. It`s going to be a real massacre.”
Among other hypothetical victims of Hutch`s fury, who would experience his wrath, were *almost all* members of the Brady Bunch family, and — quite deservedly — Alvin and the Chipmunks. Regarding the Chipmunks, Odenkirk mercilessly stated: “I`ll just step on them and crush them under my foot. You`ll hear the bones crunch and their insides squish. And that sight will make you cheer.”
The sequel to “Nobody 2” is set to hit theaters on August 15, once again featuring Bob Odenkirk as Hutch, a seemingly ordinary family man who also happens to be a ruthless assassin. The plot of the new installment, set four years after the original, finds Hutch on a family vacation that quickly spirals into a nightmare after an encounter with local thugs. This confrontation draws him into a conflict with a corrupt theme park owner, a crooked sheriff, and a powerful crime boss.
Meanwhile, Mario himself isn`t without his own drama: Nintendo recently hastened to dispel rumors about his relationship with Princess Peach, insisting on their strictly platonic friendship. “Princess Peach and Mario are just good friends who are always ready to help each other,” the company stated, thus dashing fans` hopes for a romantic development between these popular characters.
