The “Rendezook,” a legendary maneuver originating from Battlefield 3, has become synonymous with the series. Its significance was even highlighted in the Battlefield 2042 announcement trailer. Now, with Battlefield 6, players can not only perform this iconic stunt but also earn a special reward for successfully executing it.
Eurogamer reports that a cosmetic dog tag is now awarded to players who successfully perform a Rendezook. This daring feat involves ejecting from one`s jet, destroying an enemy jet with a precise bazooka shot, and then safely re-entering the original jet. While virtually impossible in reality, this incredible stunt was first demonstrated in Battlefield 3 by a player known as Stun_Gravy, who famously shared a video documenting the achievement.
The term “Rendezook” is a portmanteau of “rendezvous” and “bazooka,” and its popularity is such that it has even been included in the Urban Dictionary.
Battlefield 6 launched today across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Analyst Rhys Elliott from Aliena Analytics estimates that the game`s pre-orders on Steam alone have already surpassed $100 million. The launch is accompanied by a day-one update addressing over 200 bug fixes.
In a recent review, Battlefield 6 received a score of 8/10, lauded as a “return to form for a multiplayer shooter that thrives on emergent chaos.”
