To initiate the preload for the Battlefield 6 open beta client, simply navigate to the relevant download page for your chosen platform. Please note that the file size varies by platform; for instance, the Steam client requires approximately 39.24 GB of space, while the Xbox Series X version is listed at 37.56 GB.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Trailer:

Coinciding with the announcement of the preload availability, Battlefield Studios released an official trailer for the open beta. This trailer offers a sneak peek at some of the content included in the beta, showcasing a selection of maps and game modes directly from the full game.

As previously communicated, the Battlefield 6 open beta will be accessible from August 7th to 8th for players who obtain a special code by watching participating Twitch streamers. Furthermore, EA is distributing codes to individuals who registered for Battlefield Labs before July 31st, as well as to active EA Play Pro members.

Following this initial period, the beta will open up to all other players over two subsequent weekends: starting August 9th-10th, and then continuing from August 14th-17th.

Battlefield 6 is slated for its full launch on October 10th, making its debut on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This release marks the first new installment in the acclaimed series since the less favorably received Battlefield 2042 in 2021.
