While a recent major update to No Man`s Sky introduced the capability for custom ship building, a different fan-made creation has garnered considerable attention: a meticulously crafted replica of the Dunder Mifflin office from the beloved NBC sitcom, The Office.
Redditor Ok_Misterpiece_9363 showcased their impressive project on Reddit, receiving widespread praise for the exceptional level of detail. The creator accurately replicated the fundamental elements, including the general layout of the office, individual desks, and even the downstairs warehouse.
However, it is the subtle, memorable details that truly make this fan build remarkable. These include the two chairs on the rooftop, reminiscent of the scene where Jim and Pam watched fireworks together, and the snowman-like figures in the parking lot, recalling Jim`s encounters with Dwight`s antics.
Further adding to its authenticity, the replica features an outdoor radar speed sign surrounded by multiple figures, a clear nod to the time Michael Scott famously claimed to have run an impossible 31 mph. While these smaller details may not be apparent in all shared videos, they are present within the creation itself and were highlighted by the creator in comments posted on Reddit.
This project serves as the latest example of the immense creativity within the No Man`s Sky player community. Echoing this sentiment, game creator Sean Murray recently highlighted some of his favorite custom ship builds, which included a starship designed to resemble Thomas the Tank Engine and even one styled after himself.
Regarding The Office universe, its spin-off series, “The Paper,” is currently available on Peacock. This show follows the same in-universe documentary crew, now focusing their cameras on a struggling newspaper and the efforts to revitalize it. Starring Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore, all episodes have been released, and a second season is already confirmed.
