Amazon’s Tomb Raider Series Pauses Production as Star Sophie Turner Suffers Injury

Amazon MGM Studios has temporarily halted production on its highly anticipated live-action *Tomb Raider* TV series. The pause comes after the show’s lead star, Sophie Turner, who is cast as the iconic adventurer Lara Croft, sustained an injury.

While specific details of the injury remain undisclosed, a statement from the studios, as reported by Deadline, describes it as “minor.” Production has been put on hold to allow Turner sufficient time for recovery, with filming expected to resume once she is fully recuperated.
