Amazon Opens Preorders for Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A Bundle

Amazon has officially begun accepting preorders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 Pokemon Legends: Z-A Bundle, priced at $500. This availability on Amazon follows nearly two months after other major retailers initiated their preorder windows. A notable convenience for customers is that, unlike some previous Switch 2 listings on Amazon, this bundle does not require an invitation to place an order. The bundle is slated for release on October 16, aligning with the launch date of the Pokemon Legends: Z-A game itself, and it includes a digital copy of the game.

While the bundle can also be preordered through Walmart and Target, it has quickly sold out at Best Buy and GameStop. This new Pokemon-themed bundle is effectively stepping in to replace the limited-time Mario Kart World launch bundle, which is widely expected to be discontinued around October 16.

Opting for this bundle provides a direct saving of $20 compared to purchasing the Nintendo Switch 2 console ($450) and the game ($70) separately. It`s also important to note that Pokemon Legends: Z-A is not an exclusive title for the Switch 2; players will also have the option to purchase and play the game on the original Nintendo Switch console, where it will be available for $60.

Looking Ahead: Other Exciting Nintendo Releases

The upcoming fall season promises a flurry of thrilling new releases from Nintendo. A recent September Nintendo Direct event offered a glimpse into several eagerly awaited titles and announcements, which include:

  • A new collection featuring the beloved Super Mario Galaxy series.
  • Official release dates for the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
  • Information on Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.
  • The introduction of a new range of Amiibo figures, designed to be compatible with both the original Switch and the new Switch 2 consoles.
