Aggro Crab Reveals Crashout Crew: A New Era of Chaotic Co-Op from Peak’s Creators

The studio Aggro Crab, renowned for its contribution to the chaotic co-op sensation Peak alongside Landfall, is poised to unleash another high-octane, physics-driven cooperative experience. They have officially unveiled Crashout Crew, an upcoming four-player game that promises mayhem behind the wheels of absurdly fast forklifts. Gamers will get their first taste of the action with a playable demo making its debut at this month`s Steam Next Fest.

The reveal trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into the pandemonium, showcasing four players in a frantic dash to complete warehouse orders. Their chosen vehicles are forklifts that defy convention with their incredible speed, drifting capabilities, and boosts. The inevitable outcome is a hilariously chaotic ballet of spinning vehicles and bouncing cargo, ensuring a healthy dose of slapstick fun.

In a recent Steam Community post, Aggro Crab vividly describes the game`s warehouse environment as nothing short of a “full-blown raceway.” Players will be tasked with fulfilling a variety of contracts, each involving unique and challenging packages to ship. The trailer highlights just a couple of the perilous cargo types: fragile eggs that are destined to shatter under a careless tire, and crates brimming with bees, ready to unleash a buzzing swarm if mishandled with anything less than extreme precision.

Experience the Chaos at Steam Next Fest!

From October 13th to 20th, the Steam Next Fest demo for Crashout Crew will provide access to three distinct contracts. To further amp up the challenge, players can introduce “safety violations,” layering on extra difficulty and ensuring every delivery is a nail-biting adventure. Mark your calendars, as Crashout Crew is currently slated for a broad release window in 2026.

Both Crashout Crew and Peak began their development journey after Aggro Crab made the decision to cancel a planned sequel to their acclaimed dungeon-crawler roguelike, Going Under. While a dedicated portion of the Aggro Crab team collaborated with Landfall on the development of Peak, the remainder of the studio focused intensely on bringing Crashout Crew to life, a concept that originally sparked during a spirited game jam session.

Good News for Peak Fans!

Fans of Peak can breathe easy; Aggro Crab confirms that their beloved climbing co-op game continues to receive robust, ongoing updates. Recent improvements include significant bug fixes, the welcome introduction of a colorblindness mode, and new activities thoughtfully added to the airport lobby in a recent patch.
