Preorders for 007 First Light, IO Interactive`s espionage adventure, have commenced following its gameplay reveal during PlayStation`s State of Play. The game is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Two distinct physical versions are available: the Specialist Edition and the Legacy Edition.
The Specialist Edition is aimed at console players and comes with several in-game bonuses. This physical edition is available for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is a Game-Key Card, requiring the game to be downloaded from the eShop. Inside the box, this edition also includes a code for Bond`s Classic Tuxedo Skin.
Devoted fans of the classic N64 title GoldenEye 007 will likely find the Legacy Edition particularly enticing.
The centerpiece of the Legacy Edition is a meticulously crafted replica of the Golden Gun, presented in a custom-fitted display stand. The stand also features dedicated slots for a golden cartridge and five bullets, embodying the sophisticated style of James Bond. Appropriately, the display stand itself includes a hidden compartment.
In addition to the Golden Gun replica, the Legacy Edition includes an exclusive steelbook case with a unique design: its 007 logo on the front cover is a removable magnet.
